The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary is the uniformed civilian component of the United States Coast Guard.  It was established by Congress on June 23, 1939.
Flotilla 44 was established December 12, 1941 after an attack on America.  It helped preserve, protect and defend the rivers  and shores of Florida during World War Two as a Temporary Reserve Unit.
Celebrating 66 years of service to the citizens of Florida and the United States.
